Thanks to Merv French for this photo. I reckon this will be the second last post from my blog as we know it. My site is due for lift off anytime now and has an integrated blog in it, so there will be no more rodthomas.wordpress.com. Christian and co were off down south shooting the cape to cape run and Merv managed to get this shot for me with the new Tilopa ion action, thanks Merv.

Yesterday we had one of the best sunsets we have seen for a long time and as usual, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I still managed to get one half decent shot in taken from the local national park. 
Yep, thats rite, the new bag everyone is talking about, Fstop’s LOKA and TILOPA are now here. Our shipment has arrived in Sydney and I will have them by the end of this week. We have been having some ok mornings here of late. I went out again to his beach this morning after seeing the little channel made from the rain ( see previous post, OPENING UP )

Opening Up
I have been going to this particular spot for what seems like forever, having grown up in the area my whole life. I am sure there has been this little channel that OPENS UP into the ocean, but I cant remember when. Maybe its to do with all the rain and windy weather we have been having, but I think its looks pretty cool…..
