Marble Bar, WA
Fellow bloggers, Swervin Mervin and Dave Bettini thought it would be a good idea to do a little mini promo on the small WA town of Marble Bar, why they decided to do this is beyond me but I am playing along anyway. These shots were taken when The CAKE CREW ( Albert, Casey and I ) hit this happening town earlier on this year. We stopped here overnight on our way to Karijini and I would go as far to say, if I was ever going back this way, I would probably drive through here again en route to Karijini. The first shot was taken from inside the caravan park early one morning, the second is Chinamans Pool and the third is Marble bar Rd ( I know I know, its so similar to Casey’s but we were next to each other when we shot it )

Nice shots Rod. If you ask me Marble Bar is a destination in its own right. Why to you call yourselves the CAKE crew? Cool name but I have no idea what it means!
How many sleeps to PNG now mate?
Cheers
Dave
nice work Rod- interesting cloud blur in the first image. gives it a nice twist.
love the chinaman’s pool shot. A+ for impact with that image!
Stephen,
Thanks for your comments mate, appreciated ! !
Dave,
If I was to tell you that, Albert would have to kill you ( and he is lethal )… just kidding mate.. CAKE is Cape leveque And Karijini Expedition
Pretty simple, but alot of fun… Hey, have you ever been to is it Lake Ballard in Menzies, looks like a pretty cool place to shoot… PNG is 15 sleeps or approx 360 hours away mate

All really nice shots Rod, looks like an incredible place. The reflections in Chineman’s Pool look a little blown out but other than that the image is amazing
